How we began and where we're going:
Rolling Hills Nursery was conceived in January 1989 as a
small garden center located in the city limits on North
12th Street, Murray, KY. We operated at this location
for 9 years before moving 3 miles north of the city at a
brand new facility. We purchased 4 acres of prime
highway frontage and built our new showplace which
opened in 1998.
On our current site we have 75 parking spaces, 21000
square feet of covered shopping space, and 2 acres of
plants. Also, we have bordered the parking lot
with over 3000 square feet of display gardens that have
mature plants for viewing. In January 2006 we added an
adjacent 5 acres of property that will give us even more
storage.
Soon we intend to create a shrub and tree growing farm
that will supply our store and landscaping operation. We
are continuing to grow and improve our facilities to
make it the best destination shopping location in all of
western Kentucky. We invite you to come and visit and
see for yourself what will be truly a shopping
experience while you are here.
