Flowering trees usually are smaller growing trees that can attain a size of between 12-30 Feet in height and provide some seasonal color either with flowers or leaves at some point during the growing season.  These trees are extremely useful landscape plants for foundation plantings, borders and screen plantings. Flowering Cherry, Japanese Maple, Dogwood, Cleveland Pear, Redbud and Crapemyrtle are some of the best adapted trees for our area.
